Surgery to remove the lymph nodes is set and confirmed for Thursday Oct. 25 in Indianapolis. We will head down Wednesday afternoon so we can get a decent night of sleep before checking into the hospital at 5am on Thursday- yikes, I have NO idea what that hour of the day looks like!!! The surgery will start at 7am and lasts for about 2 hours. Most of Thursday Ross will be out of it and then come Friday they have him up and starting to walk around with the hopes of heading home on Sunday afternoon.
These couple weeks leading up to surgery have been pretty much "business as usual" Ross had several deadlines at work, a midterm for a class he is taking and I have been busy setting up the kid's schedule for while we are gone. The kids have been busy with fall field trips with school, things at church and questions about when we leave for dad's surgery. We are set for childcare while we are gone- now it's just writing out the schedules and making sure everything is lined up (especially the school stuff for Ashley).
