Church Picnics and a Wedding

We had a busy week with fun activities. On Wednesday evening it was our church picnic and kick-off for our fall programs. We had hot dogs and chips on the church lawn for supper and then went next door to Teusink's Pony Farm for face-painting, pony rides, feeding and petting the animals and hay rides. Ashley had lots of fun doing all the activities and Alyssa was very content to watch and eventually fell asleep!

On Friday evening we had the wedding for Ross' cousin Emily and her new groom, Jeff. It was a beautiful ceremony and a fun reception. Ashley loves to dance and couldn't wait until the "dancing part" she started asking if it was time to dance on our way to the ceremony- unfortunately the dancing didn't start until almost 10pm, so we couldn't "cut a rug" for too long. We all had a good time- and the bride was stunning!
